My longest Vlog to date, if you make it through the entire thing you will hear about adventure bikes, ride reports, bugs, and Alaska dreams.

  • Great vid man. I want to get up there and see the Mighty Mackinac! Bridges are part of my profession, so I have a soft spot for the greats. I promise we will make this year's trip as epic as possible! :D You'll be jonesing to go after we get back!

  • @BusasaurusRex Thanks bud! Can't wait to see your epic Alaska adventure! Let me know if you get up this way. :)

  • I want a vid cam side mounted like you use. Can you tell me how it mounts, and can I use it on an older helmet? I want to start vlogging, But, I ride a cruiser, so don't hate on me.

  • @NVDawg1 I would think you could use it on most any helmet, it uses a self adhesive mount that the camera slides into. The mount stays on the helmet and you can remove the camera from it whenever you like. No hating here, we're all on two wheels. Thanks for watching! :)

  • Great picture :)

990 adv sounds so awesome :) they are tall but not a lot taller than a stock KLR.

Let me know if you have questions about the KLR if you are interested.

Sounds like ADV riding is booming in the vlogging world :P it seems.

  • @rebelyell91 Thanks man! Being able to ride pretty much where you want is appealing to a lot of people I think. or maybe it is the LWR affect. But a lot of people are getting into the ADV world. Thanks for tuning in. :)

  • :) wooo ADV.

thanks for the shoutout. Beautiful ride, very green. :)

onewheeldrive is awesome! They did a series that went from CA to Montezuma Castle in AZ (where I have been to) it was pretty sweet.

Panniers on the CBR - I'm sure you've seen the R1 that went around the world - oh wait you just said that...

  • @britex3186 So many bikes, so little money. :) Thanks for watching! :)

  • @JimNtexas Being able to pick up the bike by yourself is a pretty big deal for us solo riders, so I can see your point about the 1200GS. Besides I would hate myself if I dropped a $20K bike. :) I have read reports of people taking their FJRs up the Dalton, don't think I would want to do it though. Thanks for the comment! :)

  • As an FJR rider also I can understand to appeal of Adventure bikes. Personally, I'd want one I could pick up, which rules out the BMW1200. One of these days I'd like to have small adv bike such as a BMW650GS. I've been on the Dalton in a car, I wouldn't want to take my FJR up there. I've actually thought about riding the FJR to Fairbanks and shipping my Ninja 250 for the ride from there to Deadhorse.
