Youtube magicians do seem to have a thing about ace cutting. I get asked about Scarne's Aces all the time. If you want to freak an audience out try doing it this way ! Ace cutting does not get any cleaner than this ! This does not use a trick deck and is totally impromptu. The cards can be given away at the end. Enjoy !

  • ok.....wtf?, the onlyyy explanation i can think of is stripper deck?, its obviously not the priciple used in scarnes aces. Biggg props on that trick, as a magician i dont get that feeling of dibeleif anymore but you just brought it back. ty.

    5/5

  • Thanks for the comment. No stripper deck was used in this routine. Andy

  • D.... D... Principle?

thats the only way I see how this can be done ;)

    really good

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the comment.

What is the DD principle ?

    Andy

  • Without a doubt, that was an amazing trick! However, I have one question. Originally, Scarne would have a new deck brought out and shuffled before he touched the cards. Do you think you could perform that? Just curious. =D Great trick nonetheless, I'm dead clueless.

  • It is a myth that Scarne performed his ace cutting trick with a brand new and borrowed deck. What he actually did was borrow a deck, remove the aces, show them, loose them in the deck and then find them again. Have a look at my Scarne Aces video to see exactly how he performed it.

  • i have subscribed, mate you are just ace!

  • Wow.. just wow.. as much as I want this trick revealed, I'd rather not have someone post a tutorial, this is what you may call magic. Great video Andy!

  • I don't know how you did it. My brain imploaded. Great presentation and patter. I wish I could do it.

  • Wonderful performance! I have no idea how you did it. If you ever market this effect, please let me know. I would love to learn how to perform it as well.

  • Amazing. Wonderful performance. I wish I could do the same, but I just can't figure it out. You should market this effect. It would probably be the only way I would learn how to do it. I am completely stumped and my head hurts.

  • excellent. Thanks for sharing it. Is the technique written up anywhere?

It reminds me of something Martin Nash did.

  • I have been astounded by this routine, and after a google search found a magic cafe thread in which an explanation video was mentioned to those interested. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this routine or the explanation video mentioned in the thread. Thanks, and Andy is a genuis!

  • i got it

    brilliant simple effect

and the can really be shuffled by the spec

  • can you please tell me where to learn this?

i'll buy it or trade it

    i have some good stuffs

    please..

i gotta know how its done

    please pm me

  • I don't understand, this is insane. It doesn't seem like you have the controlling skills Scarne had (absolutely no offense intended, just an observation). The kaos shuffle changes everything. I just... don't understand. I never saw you crimp the cards, or the aces, ever. It's impossible. And I, as a magician, don't say this too often.
