http://bit.ly/sbrforum - Julio Cesar Chavez Junior, from Mexico, will take on Sebastian Zbik, from Germany, on June 4th in Los Angeles. This battle of the undefeated Middleweights for the WBC Title was recently removed from Sergio Martinez and handed down to Zbik. Oddsmakers currently have Chavez as a -203 betting favorite but SBR forum posters and professional handicappers expect his odds to shorten to -230.
Chavez Junior's father, known as The Caesar of Boxing won his first championship in 1984 also in Los Angeles contributing some added motivation. Zbik though is looking to make history in Germany, 80 years after Max Schmeling was the last German to win a World Championship fight. Zbik recently won a tough fight in split decision battle over Emanuele Della Rosa. It will be a tough fight and Miguel Cotto will be sitting ringside on Saturday since Chavez Jr. and Antonio Margarito are the two front runners to face Cotto in the fall.
