He wanted to fit in. His peers tried to include him in their activities, but he chose to stay in seclusion. Thus, forming the delusion in his mind that everyone around him was rejecting him, and isolating him from everything. For the time he was left alone it allowed the delusions to manifest into something that would eventually lead up to the unfortunate incident. Events in the latter years of his life set off the "trigger" in his mind, causing the dormant psycho to emerge.

He had serious social problems, anxiety, neglect, and was alienated. I sorta feel bad for him. He had no one to talk to but that doesn't make it right to kill over 30 people.

Good grief, at least the Columbine Killers were high IQ articulate and talented types ( the really cool kids not the brainless Jock variety which American society unfortunately seems to glorify)...but this Korean dude is seriously mentally screwed up and what is worse, this idiot has NO fucking talent, creativity or intelligent insight: his poems/ plays are crap.
