All you need is a Dreadnought, a standard grenade launcher and an uzi. Place the Dreadnought just before that hole near your landing spot, it'll defend your brain. Plus, sometimes, if you get lucky blasting the container open with the GL, the physics will send the control chip flipping through the air and off the cave walls onto the ledge above it.

my advice, at the beginning buy a dummy robot/dropship and put 20 explosive charges into it. fly it into the cave and scuttle. Then, send in a light soldier with 1 shot pistol, and 2 coalition grenades. I finished with 58 seconds left.
