First of all, the fight song itself says, "No other gang of college men dare meet us in the muss". (The definition of Muss is "a state of confusion, disorder") In other words, "dare meet us in a fight, or scramble." The current MUSS is a perfect interpretation of the song.
Secondly, bandwagoners buying t-shirts? What about BYU's last two glorious, self-righteous t-shirt campaigns of "Fully Vested" and "The Quest"? I'm even LDS and I get sick to my stomach.
That was when Utah football hit it's peak. Their win over BYU in 2005 was a fluke and the last one they will see for a long time. Hope they enjoyed it. I still have to laugh at all the Utah fans that actually believed Urban Meyer would stick around.
You're kidding right? Undefeated at home and in conference for the past 2 years and your telling me we dont have a good base where people stand? Old people dont stand simply because their old. Have you even seen our student section? Now, let me express a problem with our stadium- Too many little kids and old people. But still, our stadium is a very hard place to play at, given our noise. Side Note-nice try on the "popcorn popping" diss, but it wasnt very good.
Your fans never stand up and if they do, the ushers tell them to sit down. Half the bleachers are filled the elderly knitting and listening to KSL on giant headphones and you sing pop corn popping on the apricot tree. No room to criticize.
For all you BYU fans, all I have to say is...13-0!!!

AND ALSO- go to the film clip "2007 Byu vs. Utah" Go to minutes 1:21, 2:12, 2:28- LOOK at our crowd. Especially, look at 4:24 and LISTEN.

Let me say that again---UNDEFEATED AT HOME AND CONFERENCE IN THE PAST 2 YEARS.
You can't tell me our fans suck.
You can't tell me that fans don't make a difference.
But I am in no way dissing on the Utes football TEAM. I respect the team, just not their fans.
