@viveledeux Ha, I think I did that unconsciously! I never got the chance to see the Cramps, sadly. I discovered them unwittingly on the day they ceased to exist. I wish I'd been where you were. Nice channel btw

@MmeLEnfer Thanks for spotting the typo on the Spelling of Midniters you are so right. I first saw the cramps supporting the police at Digbeth Civic hall in Birmingham UK in 1979, it was as you say a life changing moment, ever since then my interest in Rockabilly and garage sounds has never ceased, most of that interest was because of Lux and Ivy talking about and playing these great songs on radio shows like Kid Jensen. Stayed Cramped.
Cheers

@viveledeux Yes, I loved Thee Midniters, which I discovered on that show as well. Amazingly entertaining half hour, as well as educational. Lux and Ivy are my personal heroes.

@MmeLEnfer fantastic stuff, I too first heard this on Kid Jensens show with Lux and Ivy, i still have it on an old cassette, there were other fantastic cuts on that show such as THEE MIDNIGHTERS, an full education in thirty minutes, superb. Regards to you and respect to Lux/Ivy

"I thought she was on a diet! If she ain't had eight biscuits she ain't had none... them biscuits sho' is disappea'in' fast... I wish they would jis look down this waayyy..."
I can't believe this is up here! Ivy and Lux from the Cramps had this spun on British radio in 1984 with Kid Jensen, which is where I heard it.
