@Lauloetjee okay :) Yeah its pretty cool. It really puts things into prospective when you know people with disabilities. If they can do it why can't you? I'm not really talking about deaf/Deaf. Deaf can!!! :D Like i said its hearing people that put the disabilty there. Deaf just live in another language. It's like speaking French in English speaking part of Canada...

i don't know any deaf people.. i just have lots of respect for all the things deaf people can do without having problems with their handicap, i'm from holland( Netherlands). i don't know exactly how to say things in english... i just wanted to show my respect to her :) sorry if i said something wrong, didn;t mean it like that :S

@Lauloetjee OMG!!!! That is so rude. She is signing her lines in her language, just like you would in yours. Deaf people can do anything we can do exept hear... its rude hearing people that do this that put the disability on them!!!

Does anyone know if William Petersen really (in real life) sign ASL?
Or did he learn what he needed to know for the episode?
I know he is not deaf, but maybe he can sign ASL.

@tnafan007 i didn't say she was playing deaf, i know she is really deaf ;) i'm not that stupid xD
i just think it's amazing that she can act even when she's really deaf.

@Lauloetjee "even when she's Deaf" she does NOT play Deaf she actually is Deaf. Its not something you "play"

omg, this episode was on TV in The Netherlands yesterday.
i tought it was going to be a normal episode, but then i saw marlee matlin playing in it! :D i think it's amazing how well she can act even when she's deaf!
and ofcourse i loooove The L word :)
