My work uses these as a LCR configuration and it kicks ass !
-
How well would these speakers work when used in a center cluster arrangement delivering the center channel of an LCR mix?
-
COOL! IM GETTING 10 of these
-
PLS I SERIOUSLY NEED YOUR ADVICE. CAN'T AFFORD MACKIE HD1501 FOR NOW, CAN I HOOK UP MY SRM1801 WITH HD1531 THAT I HAVE GOT
-
Full 4+2 array flown outdoors... How many people? GO!
-
Is the optimal configuration 4x HDA + 2x HD1801 per side? I'm planning on buying this configuration with the HD1801 ground-stacked. But I'm not sure it will be enough low end with 4x HD1801...

Do these have the same crap Chinese speakers that the 1801z and 1521z series had?

@dangerousdave0983 These are in fact, different, crap Chinese speakers....no, seriously, EAW (Eastern Acoustic Works), who are leaders in touring sound worked with us to custom-design the 12-inch neodymium driver. The two compression drivers are from Beyma, some of the best transducers available. It's a new game at Mackie now and I think you will be happy with the quality.

thank you very much, are very practical, the position is great, but the price is an important issue, I live in mexico and I had not seen.

@tascam123 no problem. HDA is not available right now, but you will want to check in with our distributor in Mexico to find out what the price will be there. Our distributor in Mexico is called Hermes Music. Here's an email contact: josefina(AT)hermes-music(DOT)com(DOT)mx. (Sorry, YouTube will not allow links in here)

I do not see the drivers only see the woofer
tascam123 1 year ago
@tascam123 You will see a large vertical slit to the right of the woofer. The two Beyma compression drivers are behind the slit. That is the opening for the high-frequency signal to exit.
