This thing always reminded me of some kind of space helmet. I remember my neighbor had one of these and I had no idea what it was and never got a chance to use it. They just let it sit there and collect dust and now I see why! LOL Thanks for posting this classic commercial!

@doubleohagent As well as a prop in the movie "Ice Pirates" and professional prop house Modern Props modified one and painted it silver so that it could be used as a futuristic card reader in "V the Final Battle" and the second season premiere episode of "MacGyver".
