My license project for the 4th year of university of automatic and applied computer informatics.

*This is my first game programmed using Microsoft Visual C# & Microsoft XNA Framework 3.1
*Character is designed and modeled by me using Autodesk 3ds Max 2009.
*The building is created by me using Autocad 2011 from some planes received from some architect(unfortunately the planes were not compatible with Autodesk Autocad so I had to redraw the planes :P )
*In this game I implemented my own collision detection based on the plane equation & the distance formula between too vertices.
*I also tried to make a fast and simple Bloom Effect.
*Also implemented a fully customizable character. The application remembers the users customized character.

Total Time spend on the project - 3 months in which:
1.Learning C# & XNA framework took me 3 months.
2.Modeling, texturing, rigging, animating the character took me 1 week
3.Redrawing the planes of the building took me 3 days.
4.Rising the building in 3D using Autocad took me 1 day.

I learned XNA, 3dsMax, Photoshop all alone thx to the internet.
Special thx to a grate C++ teacher I had :)

  • Nice, try using C#

  • @karagu1 thank you

  • @Gamespflow you do realize that youtube does that automatically depending on the resolution of the uploaded video? so if his/her desktop was of HD size, then the video here is likely to be as well

  • @Gamespflow WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
