'He may not have been the best match for her as a husband but he always was, before and after the divorce, Marilyn's best friend' - Allan 'Whitey' Snyder

When Marilyn Monroe met and wed Joe Dimaggio, it was a Hollywood dream come true. The beautiful movie actress and the baseball playing legend became Hollywoods golden couple. But unfortunately the fairytale romance didnt last and the pair divorced just nine months into their marriage. However, the pair remained firm friends and Joe even accompanied Marilyn to the premier of Seven Year Itch, sparking rumours of the both of them were getting back together. Despite Marilyn moving on and marrying Arthur Miller, Dimaggio remained in love with his ex wife and would remain so until his own death. It is said that the pair planned to remarry, unfortunately Marilyn sadly passed away before they were able to do so, leaving Joe heartbroken.
So heres my tribute to the everlasting love and friendship they shared, I hope you enjoy :)

And please dont bother leaving comments disrespecting either Marilyn or Joe, they will only be deleted!

PLEASE DO NOT STEAL MY VIDEOS! I SPEND A LOT OF TIME MAKING THESE AND CONSIDER IT A TOTAL INSULT IF/WHEN SOMEONE ELSE UPLOADS THEM AS THEIR OWN! I DO NOT WANT TO TURN ANYMORE OF MY VIDEOS PRIVATE BECAUSE I LIKE THE THOUGHT THAT OTHERS CAN ENJOY THEM! THANK YOU xx

  • I like to think they are together now...may they both rest in peace and love.

  • @npm814 I would love to think the same too, thanks for watching and commenting x

  • I've read that Joe beat the crap out of her a few times which I hate hearing but I do think he was just so frustrated cause he wanted her so badly. Not excusing the behavior tho. I also read that he stayed up all night alongside her casket the night before she was laid to rest. Can you even imagine his heartbreak?

  • @songbirdy I've also read that Joe beat Marilyn, and I do not, in any way condone that kind of behaviour towards a woman! I have been there, and no man should ever raise a hand to a woman, whether overcome with jealousy or not. BUT Joe was ALWAYS the one Marilyn would turn to in her hours of need and support and Joe always came through. I do believe that out of everyone Marilyn was ever involved with, Joe was the most genuine in his feelings towards her.

  • In the footage atabout 2.13 of them arriving at a film première they were already divorced, look at the way they look at each other. They really loved each other, they really did.

  • @Bhuidhe1 I totally see what you mean. I think with the pair of them it was a case of couldnt live with each other but couldnt live without each other either. Despite what went on between them, Marilyn always turned to Joe in her times of need, and he was ALWAYS there. I believe out of her 3 marriages, Joe was the one who loved NORMA JEAN and not Marilyn and thats where their problems were. He wanted Norma Jean 24/7 but Marilyn had to play the part too, it was in some part, her job afterall.
