@xemoxchickx1994 Did you know that 'emo' is s sub genre of hardcore punk from the 80s. It came out early 90s. If you want real emo bands, listen to Snowing, Cap'n Jazz, and Sunny Day Real Estate. Emo (emocore) is about emotion, not self mutilation. Mainly it's in the harsh punk vocals (more yelling than screaming) and the melodic guitar and bass. Do ya' research homie.
