Great 80's romcom no matter what the critics said or the flock of sheep say, Madonna doesn't do her best performance but she's not bad in this, either way I love the film, soundtrack, the way Madonna looks in this and the era.. brilliant.

madonna's stunningly beautiful in this movie! i'm watching it right now and all her features are hypnotically perfect. i also noticed the box cover's description has an error. says the movie's set in 1937 but only 1st few minutes are. the rest takes place a year later.

This is so peculiar: The movie SUCKED, the 2 leads gave BAD performances, but you CAN'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THEM. Is that what they call "star quality"? BTW, the song is LOVELY.
