Hunting Retriever T-Pattern Ruby & Jag

Puget Sound Dog Trainer, Kate Johansson of Fast Pup Dog Training works with a couple of Labrador Retriever pups, teaching the T-Pattern. The T-Pattern is part of the "trained retrieve," also known in the hunting world as "force-fetch." The dogs learn to run to a pile of bumpers, sit on a whistle and take casts.
