  • @MrDandy66 Re: "the atrocious sound quality," unfortunately the camera I used then wasn't the best in the audio department. I use much better cameras now.

  • Yep, even

for a fan of lo–fi, the recordings of this show are unlistenable. Only Maserati manages to get through the mud.

How about the Extortion 7 inch CRIME recorded after EM? I think I listened to that 500 times. btw EM (a sweet LP) but I believe is mostly old tunes never recorded, The 7 inch though is new songs, yet the recording harkens back to the early garage days.

  • @crypttonite

remote viewers is a crime experimental group. they've back up strike's reading engagements.

whoever recorded this show has done the band a disservice with the atrocious sound quality.

james williamson is a timeless god but his chops were wanting on a some of those first outings. my old man still talks about the original raw power tour, and the crime fun bus tour.

  • I've listened to San Francisco is Doomed 1000s of times, more than any other record of mine. With Frankie dead, and Hank unable to play the drums in the same insanely innovative way he did when recording SFD, pull the plug on CRIME, CRIME were perfection, until they unearthed themselves, start a new band with a new name-James WIlliamson can still play Raw Power songs, like always and he spent a shit ton of years in Silicon Valley. At least CRIME recorded new material,

    but Exalted Masters so bad!
