yeah man,good rap does occasionally get into the charts,there is no hard and fast rule as to whats good.Personally I liked it in the early nineties, everything had funk. Basically if your entire tune comprises of simple 808 beats, auto tuned vocals, and slurred shitty rap about how you get paid to sing about being paid to sing, and the whole arrangment is obviously mastered to work as a ringtone, then your shit.But, your shit will sell like hot cakes.Compare Jay Z to sage and then to soulja boy.
