Patrick Swayze was excellent in this movie, as well as "Ghost", and we were so sad to hear of his passing 2 years ago. He is a Hollywood legend!!

Sidenote: Besides being amazing in Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Jennifer Grey played herself on the short-lived TV show "It's Like, You Know", which was a favorite of mine, because she acknowledged her poor decision to get rhinoplasty.
