As i said, i don´t really like FF8 myself, but if you look past the all the crap with drawing and such, it has an amazing storyline. My favourite is by far FF9, but i have no problem admitting to the fact that FF8 has a much better storyline.

I agree with most people here, FF X had a wonderfull story, but come on, there is no way it was better than FF 8´s storyline? I am no big fan of FF8, but it still has, by far, the best storyline.

@solidpat221 yeah, i was one of those people, they did a great job with drawing you in to the story and getting people attached to the chars that they were playing, and i'm not afraid to admit that i did tear up at the end of this game, this is by far the best out of the final fantasy games for story, game play and music

@A2headedcrab 1/5 people cried at the end of this game on their first play through. I'd say it takes a lot to get a gamer to cry tears or sorrow, and this game was definitely a tear jerker. Bests Final Fantasy hands down in terms of a story.

Mmm...relaxing and soothing to the soul. I first heard this song during the game when Auron reveals to Tidus that Sin is Jecht. I searched so heard for this song and I was so happy when I found it, I cried... haha
