These things are only good for wearing around. If your gonna actually use them to ride you have to put a wire up under the heel fot the boots the keep the spurs from sliding up and down the boot. There is no slipping riding spurs on and off.

i hate to rain on parades but you can slip spurs off the top of a boot even if they have a buckle.

Great Video. I am glad this style of spur strap is making a comeback. It is nice not having a buckle to mess with. I will be purchasing a few Dove Wing Spur Straps for Christmas.
