I believe that including other ways that the this "flu" is different from the run-of-the-mill flu, other than "it kills people" would strengthen your argument significantly.

The flu already kills people anyways, so the statement by itself seems a bit weak. However, it generally only kills those with weak immune systems; the extremely young and extremely old, and I've head (not really confirmed) that it's been killing young adults along with the usual suspects.

The fact that this flu is happening so late in flu season is cause for alarm. The 1918 Spanish flu was mild until the fall when it killed many people because its strength increased.

I didn't really make that point too well, lemme rephrase it.

HTWW kind of jumped to a conclusion that this is not a virus that causes a Cytokine reaction in healthy adults.

If it does not, it is not probably that dangerous at all. However the sudden rise in Mexico City pneumonia cases are cause for concern. Especially since it seemed to effect the age group with the highest immune response. However we are also referring to poor working class people in poor conditions in a global $ Crisis

30k people in the US die from the normal flu every year. No need to debunk HTWW just because you don't like him on every topic. I am glad we are trying to kill off a new strain before it is dangerous but that is not terrible... yet. Of course it is if it does indeed cause a Cytokine Storm in people with strong immune systems. Thus targeting the young adult population and causing a syndrome similar to SARS called ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). If not, no worries, it is just a flu.
