put the stock shocks back in, and added some details, mechanical problems ended the day, got home to find the front diff resembled shredded cheese as it fell out of the housing in 1.5 million peices. i don't think it was caused by over stressing the part though.

  • Cool rig! Have you drilled holes in the tires so air can flow through them? To keep them from not "popping" back out. I heard that is a "normal" thing to do.

  • @Ronh83 i prefer to drill a hole in the rim. i'v actully had a tire rip from drilling a hole in it.

  • Man I love ur truck it just looks so badass, but is it fast? I mean it should be fast as well I think. Your driving it like a women.

  • @18iser its a hunk of shit, the etire drivetrain is now in the garbage, and its gonna get an axial tranny and axles. she,s supposed to be slow. if i wanna go fast i bring out the savage 4.6:)

  • Yeah bully axels are moa and work really well they are tough too , the sub zero chasis is quite heavy and they will cope well, hind site i would have just bought the chasis and two bully axels by the way i went for four wheel steering it all worked well pretty cool...

  • i think i am going with the bully axles now, i bet they would greatly lower the c.g. on this, and ya i think rear steer is a must on this thing. if i had known i would have bought just the chasis to. thanks for the idea, i was wondering wut i was gonna do with this thing, i almost was gonna run it over with my real 4x4 as a stress test and upload that here haha.

  • How much has this truck cost you so far? Besides all of the extra stuff like the cooler, the seats, the spare tire, and what looks like camping supplies in the back.

  • I just purchased the traxxxas summit, its pretty good. But are there any cars that are better in crawling (stock)????

  • @rockhopperz93xeedmax ive not grooved the lugs but good idea! i need to do that mine do decent on mud, but I converted my scx-10 to from a trail buggy to more of a hill climber now, put a high gear in it and helps alot! we usually take pretty steep hills and clear them out and have a hill climb comp. and the 2.2 mudslingers with 1.9 foams in them with the lugs cut are unstoppable! my buddy gets so pissed, rofl

  • @davidhall8621 YEP!! only way to run those!! I see people not doing that and it kills me LOL...also take a dremel and a really thin cutting wheel and groove the remaining treads at an angle, like 2 or 4 per lug and they side hill very well on rocks!! b4 that they suk on rocks, but work well in sand and dirt/mud.... one of the best RC4WD tires are the ROK LOX though!!

  • @409409MrDave ..too bad you had to find that out the hard way LOL..yeah go to any crawler forum andyou will be steered AWAAAY FAAR away from those things, they cost waay to much for what your getting!! sweet looking rigs though, the chassis are awsome! should be sik with an axial drive under it!!! RC4WD is a killer site but its hit and miss on parts, although they did now make a hard diff and metal c-hubs for these axles!! kool video doe!
