Just wanted to put up quick clip to see how the Sanyo VPC-CG10 would interact with my Macbook and how it would look on YouTube. I was really torn between it and the newly released Flip Ultra HD. But I think I made the right choice!

  • QUESTION:

What lighting did you use for this video?

  • @JohnF30Music

I think I had an over head lamp on to give me some shine

  • Hey quick question. I just brought a Sanyo Xacti CG10 HD the other week. But I was wonder what movie editor are you using?? and my videos have the black bars on the side how do I get rid of them and make it full widescreen, do you know?>?... thanks for your help.

  • I use a macbook and my editor program is iMovie. I'm not sure about the black bars though. There should be a setting on your editor to set how you want your video presented.

  • i want this camcorder!

  • It should be available at local Radio Shacks for under $200~

  • hay thats my cam :DDDD

  • It does not seem to perferm too bad with normal overhead lightbulb lighting... great - because this cam is just on its way to me :-D

  • what file format does this camcorder save movies as?

  • Flip Ultra HD is smaller but much shakier so the Sanyo is the better choice dude.

  • @JohnF30Music yeah i have one now, since then ive bought a Sony HDR Cx500v. which does amazing in low light :-P

  • @PestVic The Sanyo is the best camera when it comes to noise

  • I have the Flip Ultra HD and im returning it for that camera. The reason is the zoom that the Sanyo has and the fact that it takes a SD card.

  • you can use sony vegas i guess.. and there probably wont be black bars. if there are look it up on youtube. i think i once saw how to do it but i cant remember!
