@MemorEsto I completely thought the same way...then I went to Moab this past August....trust me the brakes are necessary.

That little jeep did just fine!!!

The long arm kit is one of the reasons it works so well, since this was taken I have removed the back end and tubed most of the jeep. I will post new vids soon.

Ever hear of hiking? You'd still get to see that beautiful landscape without leaving gross tire marks all over slickrock.
Also your cars will last a lot longer.

Hiking happens after the Jeep breaks and can't be repaired on the trail. Have you heard of freedom?
I appreciate your concern for the land and our vehicles. I share your aloha 'aina, or love of the land. I deeply appreciate the public resources we all must share. I don't always agree with the opinions of others, but I'll defend their right to say it.

Millions of acres of public land in the Western United States are roadless. These wonderful treasures are National Parks and Wilderness Areas. I enjoy hiking in those areas.
