By this point the markets had sold off and everyone in the world knew of Europe's problems. What is the big deal here? As if Goldman is the only one that knows Europe is screwed up??

@benallen12 You completely missed my point on morality...No world system comes without flaws and that includes capitalism I am sure your harvard definition on capitalism from textbooks does not interest me. I was merely trying to imply that the richer you are the more exempt from morality you are also. In the soviet Union during the communist regime capitalism existed but only for the ELITE...And NO ! I will not private message you. For I have no desire for useless lectures.

@benallen12 I also realized Capitalism is like a new religion...the more money or capital you have the bigger the sins you can atone for...for example if you are a billionaire you can be sure sins like genocide, murder, raping, pillaging and blatant appropiation of someone elses property through bad loan shark lending practices can be atoned for. Capital is truly the new god!!! If you have none and you sleep at the park you will be thrown in jail for it.

@mrfellowship I get what you say about a trillion. And I've never been able to wrap my mind around how now-a-days politicians are able to fling the number around with such ease when there are only 310-million Americans, and most of them are not working and paying taxes!
In the coming election I will be voting for Ron Paul. But if I had my way I'd rather replace the entire political system and replaced with a computer system so people can participate directly and make politicians obsolete. ...
