@brentwhitehead So you admit he's asking god to help him cheat by supernaturally augmenting his physical abilities, just like the teams he goes up against, I mean prayer and steroids, bunch of cheaters :p
When you really think about it, that is what he's doing, it's harmless because it's ineffective so people don't think of it that way, but if it were effective, if god were choosing sides, that would be rigging the game and giving one team an unfair advantage. Not very sporting.

I hate bible-thumper trying to impose their beliefs on others and take way from choices and freedoms. We should keep those terrorists out of America.

Really? How evil can you get? Tim Tebow never did anything to cause harm to anyone, in fact he's done quite the opposite all his life! All he's doing is spreading the word of Christ so that people can be saved. This is just proof of how evil the pro-choice side really is. I dare all pro-lifers out there to donate $20 to pro-life organizations every time he gets a touch down to combat this. How dare she try to make Tebow into a villain, he is helping orphans, and playing for god.

@brentwhitehead He's the perfect role model for kids? please! I'll take a humanistic scientist over this guy any day. I rather have someone who actually is working at making the world better than a sports figure. We put too much stock in sports figures as it is. The real people who matter aren't as nearly respected as they should.
He gets more hate than Ben and Vick? Bullshit, the man's jersey sales like hotcakes, people love him.

@brentwhitehead I don't give a shit if he is thanking god for the opportunity and blessing. That means nothing to me. He can do that without the over the top thinking man pose. It's the unnecessary theatrics that people are making fun of.
So me thinking his unnecessary over the top actions are ridiculous automatically makes me hate him? I never said I hate the guy. I dislike the false sense of morality he gives off by his ridiculous actions. Don't say hate something in which I don't.

@R3APER24 Praying for tebow brings comfort. he dosnt force his beliefs upon anyone and you should check out his video where he does say he thanks god for the opportunity and blessings. i dont see why u got to hate him.. hes the perfect role model for kids... its sad that he gets more hate than a rapist in rothlesburger, a dog murdered in vick and burris who brought a shotgun in a club
Every time I see Tebow do that dumb thinking man prayer, I picture Jesus, Muhammad, Zeus, Buddha, etc. Gambling and then Jesus cheats by helping.
It's pathetic that people think that if there is a god, it cares about a damn sports game. Get the fuck over yourself. If that is the case go all the way. Every failure should be attributed to god.
The other team prays too you know.

I think part of what gets to people, Ana, is the profound arrogance of assuming that God gives a shit about a sporting event, taking credit away from the athletes who actually win, and trivializing religious faith, and the fact that he hypocritically makes a big show of it which goes against the teachings of the Bible, and the fact that he's basically trying to cheat by getting an invisible supernatural entity to rig the game in his favor.
Also the fact that it's just obnoxious.
