@juandi2570 LOL you're absolutely right man, the Swiss is nowadays the best one for what concerns class and volleys, but he's nothing compared to these two... I still own an horrible Fila shirt like the ones which were weared by Bum Bum Becker, and I'm proud of it! I guess that tennis started with McEnroe and is ending with Federer and the unkept promise Roddick, but it's my personal opinion, nothing more than that.

@SamCoreJ ...not educated with English as well as i see...well...what can i tell you thats tragedy, big big tragedy...
-
"are we okay?". lol
-
@SamCoreJ rude? so it sounded rude to you? i'm sorry dear flower next time i';ll be more careful not to abuse your precise smooth personality when i try to reply to you...are we okay? ...and since you started it all lets just say its MY OPINION...BEAR WITH IT! or STFU...
-
Is that what I said? If thats not putting words in someones mouth I don't know what is. I wasn't rude to you, and don't really understand why I got such a condescending comment back.
-
@SamCoreJ no it shouldn't some changes are just wrong and not worthy...no more volleyers dominating these days what makes me stop watching tennis...its boring baseline mashing, no more serve and volleyers no more tennis for me...so you say you appreciate unacceptable unintelligent atitude of players nowadays? i see...
-
When I was about 7 I had a t-shirt with "Egbert' on it because I couldn't say his name properly. My first tennis memory!

Players adapt to the conditions, it would be stupid not too. It takes a massive amount of skill to time the ball like Nadal and Djokovic do, and both have tremendous feel and touch around the net. They are really moving tennis on to a whole new level.
You should't compare different eras though. In 25 years people will look back on Nadal and Djokovic and they will be out dated. Each era should be appreciated for what it was.

@pulverapa oh and you know what? you still know nothing about tennis...
Baseline games = boring

Edberg's a great champion, and a gentleman. Anyone can act like Mcenroe, but takes a lot of class to be a gentleman.
