  • i dont think it was fake, i mean y would they spend so much a fake hollywood set when they could actually do it! like this if u think it was real

  • The "Go For 7 Orbits" indicated the capsule's capability to keep Glenn alive, should sudden bad weather in the prime splashdown area force him to stay in space longer than the three scheduled orbits.

    I was also the most-watched event in the history of American television to that point. Some 85 million people saw the blast-off live.
