Getting milk on them like that will attract cats like lions.

Chimps are sometimes aggressive, yes. But their cousins, the NAKED chimps, are DISPROPORTIONATELY more so; they slaughter each other in the tens of millions. They use both "smart" and dumb bombs on each other, sometimes killing whole villages, each side "chimping" in great halls, dressed in superficially expensive cloths, saying how "evil" the "enemies" are & deserve to be evaporated into bacon-like corpses. I hate to be one of those naked chimps...

chimpansees are the most ill minded apes, their sudden urge for chaotic violence is frightening.
neither bonobos, orangutangs or gorillas show these aggressive schemes towards others and their own group members.

I know how lucky I am! :-) I was at Ape Action Africa in Cameroon, and as I was there for 3 mths I was very priviledged to work with the babies, all of whom are orphans of the pet or bushmeat trade and the young ones will have seen their mother and poss extended family slaughtered before they were ripped from their mothers body. They are such amazing, wonderful creatures it is impossible to understand how anyone could do that to them. Pls support AAA - they do an amazing job on the front line
You must have fallen in love with these babies. They are precious.

I did fall in love with them, they are such amazing creatures and I miss them every day! Seriously, not a day goes by when I don't think of them at least several times a day. In the very apt words of another volunteer, I have a serious case of 'chimp ache'.
