Yes deanrebel she is soaring in her 2nd year of wrestling - and she goes on to get a national title at OCU in girls cadet 101#ers, in 3 months after that. Gonna be a fun 3rd year - starts in 2 weeks. She has grappled competitively (judo) since she was 7, and has an incredible work ethic, and a sponge like learning attitude. Yeah I am a proud daddy. And yes nbengtsson - in this country the girls cant be denied the right to compete in boys sports if they have the skills and no girls team.

Girls against boys in wrestling - is this common in the US? I have never seen this anywhere else, and it seems like all the clips here on Youtube come from US high schools? Entertaining to watch anyway!

Two thoughts...referees always get in the way of the camera! Second, Sarah's technique must have soared during one season to have such a dramatic difference against the same opponent. An excellent folkstyle match to watch...
