An 11-year old girl remains in hospital today after suffering a serious head injury at a Gatineau Park.
The girl was on a swing-set at Limbour Park, just after 2 o'clock yesterday, when it collapsed.
The city-owned park is directly behind Ecole Massé, on Rue-Saint-Alexandre.

All the girls were conscious when paramedics found them.
But one girl's head injury was so serious, she was transported to C-H-E-O for further care.

Shoppers at a nearby Metro grocery store were surprised by the accident.

455 students attend Ecole Massé.
The school-board says the accident is unfortunate, and has sent condolences to the girls and their families.
Gatineau police are investigating what caused this swing set to collapse.
It's not known the last time it was inspected, but a check of all Gatineau play structures is required each year.
