Marco Tamayo is Professor at the Mozarteum. He did his "Habilitation" (Official Professor title) in 2006 and he has an own group of students. Of course he is a friend of Prof. Seidl an yes, he was his assistant, still he teaches couple of hours as assistant. But Tamayo is Professor in Salzburg and also in Klangenfurt with full positions.

i 'm a student of classical guitar at Mozarteum Tamayo is an assistant professor of Mathias Seidel and has applied for an ordinary position as professor of classical guitar in Munich.. he's one of my favorite performers..

Marco Tamayo lives in Austria, is cuban and is Prof. for classical guitar at the Mozarteum University of Arts in Salzburg and also in Klagenfurt, both in Austria. He wrote a bokk about guitar principles that is about to come out this year.
