I got a lot of requests to do this video so I hope you guys enjoy it. This is the NEST thermostat which is about the geekiest thermostat money can buy. You can now adjust your temperature from your iOS or Android device over the internet. This thing looks sharp, is built amazingly well and is very easy to install. I couldn't find anything wrong with it out of the box and I'm proud to have on in the Nerdgasm house.

Most people leave the house at one temperature and forget to change it. So Nest learns your schedule, programs itself and can be controlled from your phone. Teach it well and Nest can lower your heating and cooling bills up to 20%.

If you're comfortable installing a light fixture, you can install Nest yourself. Three out of four people install Nest in 30 minutes or less.

You can also buy our Nest Concierge installation service from nest.com or call 855‑4MY‑NEST for more info.

Only 11% of programmable thermostats are programmed to save energy, but Nest remembers the temperatures you like and builds a schedule for you. It's so simple that 99% of Nests have schedules.

Nest saves the most when you teach it well.

Day 6
Save while you're away.

With Auto-Away™, Nest automatically turns to an energy-efficient Away temperature when you're gone.

This Nest exclusive works in 90% of homes, even if it's in a spot you don't pass on your way out the door. This show is an independent production of Jerry Berg (aka Barnacules).
