When I had put loudmouths on my gt, I felt a decrease in throttle response off the line, which I might have gained in high end, but man I really felt a decreased throttle response. Sound amazing though

It's because straight pipes cut down on the exhaust system's back pressure, which gives you a slight decrease in horsepower. I experienced this as well when I put SLPs on my 07 GT.
