Square at all speeds, Windjammer SP was without a doubt the finest flat shod racking horse I have ever witnessed.
I took this video when Windammer was in his early 30's. Aside from being one of very few horses to ever beat Speck outright in his prime, Jammer won numerous state and regional titles. His highest blue ribbon count in a single season was 19. With 5 RHBAA Reserve World Grand Championship Speed Racking titles to his credit, the most poignant note that I can add is that... He never set foot in a show ring until the age of 18!
Bred sparingly and living to the ripe old age of 38, "Jammer" was owned, trained, shown and loved by Sandy Preston of Tyler Mountain Stables in Cross Lanes, WV.
To date, he is the only the second speed racking sire to have produced 3 speed racking world champions and reserve world champions... Windjammer's Reflection, Winds of Crimson and Windjammer's Quick Decision.
The only other speed horse to produce 3 world champions is Hot Patches, himself a 14x world champion.
