Originally recorded by little Willie John.His own song "Leave my Kitten Alone" was covered by The Beatles.
Written by Otis Blackwell & Eddie Cooley, who also wrote "Don't Be Cruel", "Great Balls of Fire" & "All Shook Up".
Recorded by Peggy Lee in the late 50s, Fever was also covered by Elvis, Tom Jones, Madonna, Ray Charles & Eva Cassidy.

Nice and 'mellow' version! As I'm a flat-out rocker and blues addict at heart, perhaps a little 'grits' in there wouldn't have gone amiss! I'm ashamed to admit that I havn't heard Little Willie's original version (yes, I hang my head in shame!!), but got hooked on Peggy Lee's cover ages ago! Anyway, a real nice version, soothing on the ears and very good sound! Stay with it!! Hank C...
