Ramadan does not mean only not eating or drinking till sunset. It has other meanings. Ramadan means, to control yourself, to form ur personality in positive issus, to be closer to Allah swt. Ramadan means to be patience, to be kind, to speak with good words, doing good things, to increase the feeling of humanity and compassion with ppl who have nothing. Ramadan means fasting with our mouth, heart and apprehension

I'm a Muslima, and you know I get this all the time from people, I'm the only person in my whole family on both sides of generations who have reconverted (I should say). I get it from school, work, etc. sometimes it makes me mad because we're human. I get really frustrated trying to help some ppl not to believe propaganda but you know Allah will help them, Insha Allah. I'm working on trying to get more and more knowledgeable.
