Dr. Richard Wu, a cardiac electrophysiologist at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, sucessfully treated patient Jean McIntosh's heart disorder. Ms. McIntosh suffered from atrial fibrillation, in which her heart didn't beat with the proper rhythm. By feeding catheters through blood vessels in the leg, the surgical team restored normal heartbeat with only a short hospital stay.
A certain amount and quality of evidence must be present for any claim to proceed. Judges monitor filings at every step, and can dismiss a case that lacks merit at any time. Attorneys can be punished - and, in some cases, may have to pay money penalties - if they bring frivolous suits to court, or otherwise abuse the process.

Comment taken from Ratemds (QUOTE) I never met WU, and yet he doped me up, and, as a trainee, took the scalpel, and without consent, performed and botched my surgery...........which led to my near death and permanent disability. How can you say:
Was Wu just learning? If, so I can have compassion for him.
I think he knew what he was doing.........getting his practice in at the expense of an unconscious victim.
