97 jeep cherokee xj flowmaster super 40

my 1997 xj with a flowmaster super 40 in place of the stock muffler with a stock style tail pipe. i think it is 2.5" piping. the motor is the 4.0 I-6

if youre wondering the jeep has a 4" lift and 31s.

no the ford startied having more problems than i could keep up with so unfortunatley we parted ways lol. i liked the jeep at first but i couldnt go without a pickup so thats gone too lol....not sure of the colr, i just called it blue...lmao

@troyoffroad It just looks like the regular, stock Jeep seafoam blue (or atleast that's what I call it) you see on some Cherokees, I don't think I've ever seen any Wrangler TJs in that color, but I have seen a few stock XJs.

what all did you do to your exhaust? i bought the same 40 series for my jeep. but it doesnt sound like yours..

@86k20 this is my video i forgot my old password lol....it was on there for about a year, probably got a little louder as it got older, but the main reason its loud on this jeep is that the cat was hollowed out. as far as straight piping it, i dont recommend it i have done that on all my jeeps and even with the cat they sound bad IMO, if you want it louder i would keep the flowmaster and hollow the cat but thats just me. thats the best sound for a jeep 4.0.

hey how long has that super 40 been on, i have a super 40 on my cherokee and it sounds way quieter, its been on for 3 weeks and im hoping it will get louder but if not im straight piping it for sure
