@Fetish73 You're right on there. Keith was just a man like the rest of us, he made no pretensions about being anything else. We have to look behind the man and see his God - the LORD Jesus Christ! We can get caught up in worshipping Keith; this would have appalled him as it is clear he wanted all the glory to be the LORD's alone. Have to be on our guard. We give our thanks to the LORD for such blessing, He is good.

Praise not the man, praise his LORD - that's what Keith would've wanted. All the glory to Christ. Many of Keith's songs were actually GOD'S WORD. The LORD blessed and gave him his talents. Rejoice that God blessed us with this ministry. This has always been one of my favourites because David reminds me of myself so often. Saw a documentary of Keith's life and I suppose there would have been a lot of friction. The Holy Ghost had taken hold of Keith's life, and that's all that mattered to the man.

i truly hope and believe that keith green's reward in heaven is great because of the no apologies conviction in his lyrics and music in the lord - total surrender to christ and willingness to sing it to the masses the way he did.. thank you god so much for this person coming into the world. may his messages of your love, salvation and restoration continue to reach many.

Great song. It looks though, as if we have come far away from that as the body of Christ in America. Every sin finds it's place in some church somewhere. No more confrontation and true repentance (which is TURNING from the sin).

Read "Islam is of the devil" of Dr. Terry Jones, it contains the best description of where the church is at I know there is!
