This was a request. Sorry about the quality of the announcing at the beginning. I wanted a combination of the two queen songs, so I used the Michael Johns (from american idol) version. Please subscribe!!!!

about 03, he is credited for giving up the homer but to be honest they wouldnt have even gotten that far in the series without him. Had they won that series he easily wouldvve won the ALCS MVP

hey he's a knuckleballer hes not supposed to throw shut outs.....thats why its important for him to play on a good offensive team for run support. tito doesnt expect him to go out there and throw a shutout

This is quite a nice tribute to Tim Wakefield. He may not get the attention some of his team-mates get, however, it can't be denied that Tim has endured for nearly 20 yrs. He has managed to collect 2 world series rings along the way, yet he remains a humble team player.

Capitalism has dug deep into you. It deprived you of a personality void of labels and ambiguous statuses. Various marketing ploys are now part of your "persona". I feel pity that such a life was wasted. But there's always hope for cows.

I am a Yankee fan, but I remember (painfully) how Wakefield all but owned one of my favorite pitchers, Mike Mussina, who simply could never outduel him in their matchups. I do know that "Moose" was a high strung player whose game would go off kilter if he missed a start because of a rainout, or if Jorge Posada caught for him, or even if the mound was an inch too high. I think toward the end that he just got so scared and demoralized against Wakefield that he proved to be no match for him.

...Five earned runs. My deceased grandma would take a 'W' if she was pitching with that run support Wakefield has enjoyed throughout his career. Well congrats anyway, last career win. Probably one of the lasts career overall starts. And trust me, he ain't gonna make it to Red Sox playoff roster if they qualify for wild card. Next season... It's a choice between bullpen and retirement.
