People all over the world and here in the U.S. believe that Americans are divided by party lines. The name of the game in Washington is usually Democrats vs. Republicans; however, a new poll came out that reveals that 43% of voters identify themselves as independents. So what could this mean for the two political parties, and if Americans are choosing not to side with either one, what effect could this have on the American political system?
