My first xmorch-project, exhibited at Industrien near Odense, Denmark.

The laptop plays back a classical track with lots of bass, making the wires dance in the bass speaker domes. Now and then the wire will hit the border of the speaker where another wire is connected. This complete circuit tells the CD-ROM drive to open and close, and whether it is opened or closed different kinds of hardware will be activated. Electronic coils picks up the noise from the hardware and induces a voltage which is amplified and the sound is played back through another set of speakers inside an old water tank, making a lovely noise.
