an average drummer .
Ian Paice is a super drummer , with a better technique than J.B. and
he knows his way around the kit better .
You like Bonham more because you like his style more than the style of I.P''s
drumming .
But that Ian Paice is the better ( technical ) drummer is a FACT !!

@ter50 ya they are both so similar and so different. Ian has more finesse and more of a swing feel than Bonham, but Bonham is a much heavier hitter. but hey, anyone ever hear of drum mics? i love them both, they are both equal to me, but Ian is my personal favorite

@theIdolThreat Bonham has more credit than Paice because he died, death makes artists more famous. I'm not saying Bonham sucked he was a great and innovative drummer but because of his death he gets more attention than Paice. I love both but Paice is my favourite.

Ian deserves much more credit. He is equal to or maybe slightly better than Bonham, although they both have their differences. And all these kids look up to Travis Barker...freakin sad.

Lol, grow up people. You who trash Barker are just as immature and uneducated as those who worship him. He doesn't suck. Is he great? No. Is he clean and precise, and does he record well? Yes. He has his place in the drumming community, and he's filled that spot well. Paice and Bonham also have their places, and they've both filled that spot well. None of you should bring the idea up anymore.
