How well do you know the financial strength / health of your business?
Does your company's Balance Sheet show good liquidity?
How many times in a year are you turning over your receivables and inventory?

Download the template in my Knowledge Center:
http://nerdenterprises.com/knowledge/2011/06/fundamental-analysis-for-small-b...

The term "Technical Analysis" was "technically' incorrect.
Previously on the accounting Video blog I gave an introduction to what I was calling Technical Analysis.

The correct term to describe what it means when you are looking at numbers from your balance sheet and profit and loss expressed in terms of certain ratios to help gain insight into the financial health of your company is "Fundamental Analysis."

This The previous post gives you more detail on the ratios and where this is all coming from. In this post I want to get right into the video. My video o Fundamental Analysis For Small Business is about 25 minutes long and it shows you how to use the template I created to analyze any small business using the most common ratios. I also give you a tab with definitions to help you to understand these ratios.
