how can so much awesomeness be in one place?

@StormTheEternalGates No worries, I wasn't offended. But I did mention in my response that it was giving something up in the natural. I guess I was more speaking from my own experiences when I mentioned giving up food to get closer to God. ;)

@freetobeme03 "Your relationship with God deepens when you set aside food."
The way you phrased that led me to believe you weren't aware of the breadth of possibility in the act of fasting. In no way did I intend to offend you. I was merely adding to what you had already said.
-
@StormTheEternalGates Yes thanks, I know this, but Vbbymcr asked the question, so you should tell them.
-
@freetobeme03 fasting can and often does involve more than just food. It can be things that you hold dear to you, like tv or your computer, for example. Any time you set something aside for a determined (or sometimes undetermined) amount of time for the sake of uninterrupted relationship with your creator, that is fasting (in the spiritual sense).
-
@freetobeme03 In the bible though it does say to fast, and not tell anyone when you do it. It's not about showing other people you can do it, but showing God you love him enough to do it for your relationship with him.
-
Why would you say that? He's actually Allan Aguerre, former frontman for Christian punk rock band Scaterd Few. He's been doing interviews at Cornerstone for several years since SF broke up.
