Gran Turismo (ePSXe) - Hi Res GT Mode

A special Time Trial mode in the game that has it running at a full 60 FPS. You can unlock this mode by beating the Arcade Mode on Difficult or by winning the GT World Cup in Simulation Mode.

Bits of lag is caused by Fraps. It actually runs REALLY smooth when I'm not recording.

NOTE: Motion blurring is used to conserve the 60 FPS effect.

I just won this hifi mode and was stunned at how smooth it looked! Graphics really aren't that important compared to framerate!

You can see the different between Normal Race with Hi Res mode. The Graphic.

In Hi Res mode, it looks very smooth like you play in Playstation 2. They remove all component like building around, smoke when you drift, etc. So you can see that the car and the circuit are very smooth. =) CMIIW

@yme4me I don't know what you're talking about. I've stopped working on a starter file, I'll start again when I get a second memory card. For now I'm just experimenting with a few of the less popular cars and their tuning potentials. I could have 100% completion by tomorrow if I really cared about progress.
