I saw this when I was eight, it freaked me out and I got a little freaked out from my dog after seeing this movie, I thought she was going to eat me....

and This movie is really fantastic. Now the americans are remaking it....

The remake was done by Jamie Blanks, an Australian filmmaker, who worked with the original screenwriter. The film was shot, produced and edited in Australia, not America. It's an Australian remake of an Australian film... I'm really looking forward to seeing it though.

Great tense frightening film, though i haven't seen it since i was about 14/15 yrs old, wouldlove to see this again.

Australians make some very good gritty/emotive films.
