Its funny how the smartest military at the time could confuse a ufo from a weather baloon, it just goes to show you that they are liars, or some of the dumbest people in the military, u be the judge!!!
-
it's funny the newspaper said it was a saucer and the next day the story suddenly changed to a weather balloon-who told them it was a saucer if not the military?

@ectoplasm8 Thanks for an intelligent debate... but apparently Foil -LIKE material that couldn't be torn or burnt. This proves nothing but it doesn't help to ignore it.
IMO grounded explanation does NOT equal earthly origin If something is unrecognisable a human mind WILL liken it to something already known (especially if asked to describe it)
-
@NightfallBlue Jesse Jr. & Sr. both say it was foil-like material & I-beams. Jesse Jr. said it was I-beams with symbols. I don't dispute what they saw. Weather balloons from that era were made of foil & I-beams. That's not something conjured up for this story. The likelihood of a "UFO" being made up of EXACTLY the same material is highly unlikely. Grounded explanation=earthly origin.
The craft found with bodies is a different location & not related to what Jesse Jr. or Sr. saw.

''...i don't think that would have happened...'' true words

Those were the days. Question: If it was a weather ballon, then why the secrecy?
-
Ectoplasm8 , that's not what is being said. Trowbridge, marcel, marcel junior and others are saying the real crash material (metallic with unusual properties) was switched with a busted weather balloon which was made of iirc tin foil and lightweight wood. No i-beams afaik.
There are many witnesses to that, over 300 accounts corroborating the event and some witnesses saying they were told of dead and living non-human occupants.
What's more worrying is that this story has been picked up and nam

So the debris they found was like foil and had small i-beams. Just so happens that the weather balloons sent out during that era were foil and had i-beams as well. Just as shown in the photo with Jesse Marcel. What are the chances that ufo material is made up of EXACTLY what weather balloon materials were made of? Something is missing from these stories.

Evidence from Rosswell crash? Check out video with following titile,,, Jason Martell on SciFi Channel Show - Proof Positive
-
If any of you care to know,, there is a fragment allegedly from Rosswell crash now in the possession of Dr. Roger Leir, who acquired it from Jim Feuling. Tests were done on it by prestigious US labs back when it was safe to do so. Now you need to go overseas to get any materials tested. US labs will pretty much turn you in, or withhold info about the results if it becomes obvious it is of extraterrestrial origin.

@Ericbranson3 The military is the one that SAID it was a flying disc!
The newspaper was not an independent media outlet, it was the official newspaper of the RAAF!! (not royal army airforce)
why didnt anyone keep one of those pieces? if they were that small you easily could have hid one of them, and noone would have noticed. thats what actually bothers me about this whole story.

Someone did keep a piece, and had it tested to prove it wasn't made on Earth. Search youTube for gjQgqZ6eMP4 to find the video.
