At the home where Agustin Barrios lived until the age of 13, in San Juan Bautista, Misiones region of Paraguay. After a press conference, attended by US Ambassador to Paraguay Liliana Ayalde, and the Governor of Misiones, and the Mayor of San Juan Bautista, there is a traditional Paraguayan dance in honor of Renata & me. (gulp!- I am not worthy!) The music playing is a band arrangement of "Danza Guarani" by Agustin Barrios. The Barrios home is now owned by artist Gil Alegre.

This is the second time in less than a week that we have had the extraordinary honor of being feted with a beautiful traditional Paraguayan dance!

This was during our 12-day concert tour of Paraguay, while we served as US State Dept. Cultural Envoys.
